Principal
My name is Louise Bray-Burns but most people call me Lou. I am the Principal of Hampton Hill School and have been here since September 2010. I love teaching but my job now doesn’t let me do much of this. So, if I can go into classrooms and see what children are doing and spend time with them at intervals and lunchtime, I think I am really lucky.
I have two children of my own who have left school now and a small dog called Murphy. I love to walk and listen to music when I am not at school.
I am very proud to be the Principal of Hampton Hill School and am honoured to be leading such an excellent, family focused learning community. I have been working in education for the past 25 years and have taught and led in all areas of primary and intermediate schools.
Hampton Hill School values the diverse ethnicity of the all students which allows us to provide a rich and dynamic background for learning. Our students are valued and supported to make choices and to take responsibility for their decisions.
