Gifted and Talented Class

This is a class which operates one day a week with students who have proven to be high achievers in all areas. They are selected for their ability to;

  • Solve difficult problems quickly and easily
  • Make good leaders
  • Have the most original ideas
  • Express their own ideas forthrightly
  • Have independent work habits, and exhibit good time management skills.

Reading Recovery Programmes

These programmes operate in the Kiwi Block (Years 3-6) to assist students identified as at risk in and Reading.

Online Reading Log

In 2012 we introduced a new online system for young readers to record what they are reading. Reading-Rewards.com is an nline reading log/reading incentive programme with a little something for all kids. Designed to encourage reluctant readers by rewarding time spent reading in various ways, Reading Rewards also has tools for eager readers who want to share their reading experiences in a fun, safe, online community.  Click here for Online reading log instructions.
